Jo Wood graduated from the Studios in 2007 with a Diploma in Ceramics. Her practice now includes the production of ceramic lights which are folded and impressed to form translucent vessels which transmit light. Jo actively participates in local and national exhibitions as well as supplying a number of Sydney galleries. She is also widely published in well-respected ceramics and crafts journals including Journal of Australian Ceramics, Craft Arts International and Ceramics Technical. In 2008 her work was selected for exhibition in the Gold Coast International Ceramics Award.
