Kimie Kitamura is an Open Studio student at the Studios. Kimie's work includes the production of slipcast and wheelthrown functional ware and sculptural installations. Over the past three years Kimie's work has been selected for exhibition in a number of significant outdoor sculpture exhibitions including Rookwood 'Hidden' and Blue Mountains Sculpture. In 2014 Kimie's work was selected for exhibition in Sculpture by the Sea in Bondi, NSW.
