Kim Anh Nguyen graduated with an Advanced Diploma in Ceramics from the Studios in 2011. Kim Anh's original works are inspired by her experiences of the Australian landscape. Her sculptural vessels are meticulously constructed echoing the fine threads of Spinifex grass of Central Australia. Kim Anh was one of five artists selected to exhibit at the Vitrify Ceramics Award. She received the 1st prize in the biennial Stanthorpe Art Award. Her work has been collected by a number of public galleries including Stanthorpe Regional Art Gallery, Gladstone Regional Art Gallery and Museum and Gold Coast City Art Gallery. In 2013 Kim Anh raised $7,000 for the UNHCR through sales of her work.
